Writer Guidelines for Creation Care

Creation Care magazine is a  publication of the Evangelical Environmental Network. The magazine was established in 1994 and is published four times a year. The EEN and its magazine intend to reach a multi-denominational Christ-centered constituency with a message that is thoroughly Christian and firmly rooted in Biblical teaching.

Most issues of the magazine will contain a blend of inspiration, devotion, theology, discipleship, joy and fun.

The message: God calls humanity to care for creation. As Christians, we are called to serve and to lead passionately in this cause.

Each issue of the magazine will contain a blend of inspiration, devotion, theology, discipleship, joy and fun. When weaddress political and legislative issues, we take a Christian approach, speaking plainly, avoiding exaggeration and insisting on respect for opposing viewpoints.

We believe sharing and witnessing to ourstrongest real-life experiences in God's creation is the most powerful way to share the creation-care message in today's world.

We strongly suggest that prospective writers ask for a sample copy of the magazine. Contributors have included Cal DeWitt, Loren Wilkenson, Jim Ball, Vera Shaw, Vincent Rossi, Susan Bratton, Tom Sine, Ghillean Prance, Glen  Harold Stassen, Eugene Dykema and others. Familiarity with these writers and their work would be helpful for anyone seeking to write for Creation Care Magazine.
