It's quite a familiar story for us here at EEN and Creation Care magazine. When Christians who have been about the task of creation-care find us, they usually are both shocked and overjoyed to discover that there are other Christians like them who are trying to care for the Lord's creation. (By the way, have you told someone about us?) Here are just a few of the messages we've received about our creation-care ministry.
What others say
I teach college level classes on creation-care and environmental
education. Your materials, web site, and magazine are my number
one resource for my students. Great stuff!
- Cyd, from Georgia
"Dear EEN,
Thank you for all you do for our Lord Jesus Christ and His people
and for all those He gave His life for. We praise God for
you and do not fail to pray for your ministry each day. We
love our Lord and his choice servants as well."
- David, from Michigan
(David reminds us to ask you to please pray for us and for EEN's
ministry.)
"Hello,
I am a Christian with a serious committment to the environment who
has been hoping for a group like yours to come along . . . I would
very much like to be affiliated with your group . . . I don't want
my passion to go to waste. Is there anything I can do for you on
a individual level?"
- Joe, from California
I just wanted to encourage you ... I've been a supporter for quite some years now and have seen the changes and reshaping of the organization ... I pray that more Christians, church leaders especially, catch the vision that EEN and you have of Christ's Church being the leaders in caring for God's creation in living, practical ways, not just giving it lip service, and then letting economic and other driving forces cloud out this view.
- Douglas, from Pennsylvania
(To answer Joe's question, individuals can pray for our ministry,
tell others about us, join EEN and
contribute financially, start a Small Group up in their church,
or contact EEN (een@creationcare.org)
for specific EEN volunteer tasks.)
