If you're like me, sometimes the problems we face can seem overwhelming and too complex for straightforward solutions. One in six of our children are being born with harmful levels of mercury in their bloodstream. The changing climate is causing floods, droughts, and famine that severely harm the least of these at home and across the globe. And our addiction to old fossil-based, non-renewable energy is crippling our economy and costing us jobs. It can be hard to believe that one straightforward step, cutting our pollution, can address all these concerns. But it can.
The EPA is working now to implement pollution-control policies under the 1990 Clean Air Act, which was passed with overwhelming bi-partisan support. These actions will protect life, promote a cleaner, healthier environment, and create jobs by moving us toward a clean economy we can hand down to our kids and grandkids. As Christians we have a powerful voice to add to these conversations and can offer an important witness in defense of life. All it takes is one click to add your name to thousands of Christians speaking out and supporting EPA protections. Will you join us?

As a pro-life Christian I'm committed to helping reduce pollution and its impact on the vulnerable. I care about the future and the future we'll leave to our kids and grandkids.

Contacting My Member of Congress
The implementers (i.e., the EPA) need support and protection from those in Congress and industry who feel that there should be no limits on carbon pollution.

Making My Views Known to the EPA
I pledge to let the EPA know why as a Pro-Life Christian I believe putting limits on carbon is an urgent moral issue.(sample text below)
Dear EPA Administrator Jackson:
As a pro-Life Christian, I urge you and the EPA to remain strong in your efforts to address carbon pollution through the authority of the Clean Air Act.
The reality of climate change is already being felt here in the U.S. and around the world in the form of extreme weather and health impacts, which most affect the unborn, poor, and powerless. It is time for America to tackle this great moral challenge. Doing so protects life and abides by Christ's teaching to love one care for the least of these , who will be hit hardest by climate change.
Thank you.
