Pro-Life Clean Energy Campaign

Pollution harms the unborn, causing damage that lasts a lifetime. Dirty air and water has serious consequences for the health of our children and other vulnerable populations like the elderly.

This is why pro-life Christians must lead the charge on clean energy, and why the Evangelical Environmental Network (EEN) will organize half a million pro-life Christians to participate in our Pro-Life Clean Energy Campaign.

It is time to stop poisoning the womb and our environment and create a cleaner, brighter future for our children, free from pollution.

As a pro-life Christian, I believe pollution harms the unborn, causing damage that lasts a lifetime. Dirty water and air have serious consequences for the health of our children and other vulnerable populations, like the elderly.

So, I ask my Governor and other elected officials to support a plan for clean electricity that will: free our children from pollution by relying entirely on clean electricity from renewable resources like wind and solar by 2030; defend our freedom to create our own electricity from sunshine, without fees championed by monopolistic utilities; free our communities from regulations that prevent us from joining together to create our own electricity; and free businesses from such regulations so that they, too, can create and sale clean electricity.

“Jesus died to take away your sins, not your brain.” That protecting life on earth protects the unborn—throughout life—IS a no-brainer; it’s obvious. Time for Christians to let our light of intelligence shine and be useful—not squashed under a bushel basket of Big Oil campaign money promoting itself as “conservative.” There’s a difference between money-worship/idolatry and a living faith in our Creator that urges us to protect this dear planet, not despoil it.

America’s power plants are it’s single largest emitters of emissions, but this does not have to be so. A coal power plant with Carbon Capture Utilization System technology will put less CO2 into the atmosphere than a natural gas power plant. 95% of the CO2 can be removed and transform the CO2 into useful – saleable products. (It also will remove the CO2 from combusted natural gas). Imagine all these power plants with near zero CO2 going into the atmosphere.

Global warming is another problem that needs to be addressed. There is a lot of heat energy in all this combusted exhaust going into the atmosphere. This heat energy can be recovered with the technology – Condensing Flue Gas Heat Recovery making this recovered heat energy available to be utilized for other purposes.

With the heat energy removed from the combusted exhaust – water is being produced. If 20% of the water is recovered the power plant can be self sustaining. If more is recovered the power plant can be a water supplier to the community.

Trump wants to again support the coal industry and it’s families. Let’s show the environmentalists that Clean Coal is possible. It will create many jobs and support many side industries including agriculture.
